Sake is a fine dining Japanese restaurant in Circular Quay. We came here a to experience their signature Dragon Egg masterclass and try the amazing dessert.
To start off, we tried their Plum wine, which is a traditional Japanese wine that one drinks before dessert. I am usually not a fan of dessert wine but this one was nice and sweet and not too strong.
Next we tried their Dragon egg with genmaicha tea, kalamansi yolk, poached apples, puffed rice crunch. This is one of the most amazing desserts I have ever tried. The many different textures and ingredients came together perfectly. The sweetness of the poached apples nicely balanced out the sweet chocolate shell and puffed rice added a nice crunch. The white chocolate pourover was the perfect touch to finish.
Overall, Sake is a great restaurant, I would love to come back next time and try some of their main dishes!
