Dear delicious is a cafe in Dulwich Hill that serves a range of brunch and lunch dishes. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating with a nice garden however it was too windy on the day we went so we opted to sit indoors.
For our drinks, we ordered the Premium stoneground green tea and matcha white chocolate cream. I loved how this was served in a teapot deconstructed so we could control how much white chocolate cream to add to the green tea, it had a lovely sweet vanilla flavour. I also really enjoyed the Pink pitaya latte, it had a light pitaya flavour was nice rich and creamy.
We ordered three dishes to share. The first dish was part the Pinky Crazy creamy millety pudding with almond milk, coconut cream, pink pitaya, cinnamon and rose. This was a perfect winter warmer breakfast dish, the pudding was rich and creamy and not too sweet and I enjoyed the cinnamon flavour.
Next we ordered the Stellar acai dragonfruit chia bowl with banana, coconut milk, blue spirulina, black goji, and grain free granola. I loved this bowl, the creamy smoothie was nicely balanced by the crunch of the granola and the colours were just beautiful!
For our savoury dish, we ordered the Soft fishy tortillas with barramundi, spiced corn, avocado, tomato, purple slaw, jalapeno sauce and greens. This was a nice and healthy dish, the fish was well cooked and I loved the corn and avocado slaw, while the jalapeno sauce added a nice kick.
Overall, Dear Delicious is a great cafe in Dulwich Hill and worth trying out if you are in the area, they have a fun pink menu as well as other staple brunch dishes!
