Sheraton on the Park Feast Restaurant Buffet: A feast for all occasions

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetFeast Restaurant at Sheraton on the Park is one of the best restaurants in Sydney for a seafood buffet feast. It has long been one of my favourite five star hotel restaurant buffets, with a huge array of seafood, meat, noodles and rice dishes as well as a cheese and dessert selection and I was so excited to come visit for a lunch one day.

We started off with the seafood selection, there was a range of fresh seafood to try including lobster, bugs, crab, prawns, sashimi, oysters and cooked salads and dishes. The seafood here was so fresh, it was best tried by itself with a range of sauces. I also loved the salmon and sushi dishes, they were restaurant quality and there was great variety. Definitely the highlight of the buffet.

Next we moved onto the cold meat, cheese and salad bar. I loved this part of the buffet, the meat selection was extensive and I loved trying all the different types of cheese, my favourite was the brie. The salad bar was also very colourful, with lots of ingredients and sauces that you can put together to make a delicious and fresh salad.

Next we moved onto the roast and noodle section. This was my favourite section, I could not resist trying both the roast pork belly and roast sirloin beef. The pork was perfect cooked and so juicy, with the crackling nice and crunchy and the beef was cooked medium rare just the way I liked it. I also loved the huge range of sauces, helping myself to some mustard and cranberry sauce. There were also some great noodle and rice dishes on offer, with the chefs cooking our choice made to order.

Finally, I left room for dessert, which is one of the most impressive selections I have ever seen. I tried one each slice of cake, including the the berry and almond, oreo cheesecake, lemon and passionfruit tart, mango and chocolate mousse, lime pannacotta, carrot cake, nutella tart, tiramisu, coconut sago, lolly jars and ice cream. My favourite was the cheesecake and I also really enjoyed the matcha, raspberry and mango ice cream.

Overall, the Feast buffet is hands down one of the best value buffets in Sydney and deserves a visit if you are a seafood fan, though there is plenty of other dishes to choose from apart from seafood. The produce is so fresh and the dishes are cooked very well, we left with very full and content bellies, and will definitely return sometime!

Love at First Bite dined as guests of Sheraton on the Park. All opinions are my own.
