Radleys is a chicken and steak diner in Chatswood Chase that serves high quality comfort food at affordable prices with generous portions. The place is newly opened and well decorated with cosy booths and tables. We came here for a winter’s night feed, keen to try their menu.
The first dish we ordered was the signature Half rotisserie chicken with hot chips and gravy. This chicken is free range and roasted so well, it was very juicy and tender and I enjoyed it with the gravy and chips.
Next we tried the Chicken schnitzel with cream cauliflower, roasted carrot and potato. The chicken was well fried, crunchy on the outside and the cream cauliflower was amazing, I loved the flavours in roasted vegetables.
Next we tried the Prime angus rib steak with hot chips and gravy. The steak was cooked medium, and was very fresh and juicy on the inside, going well with salt and pepper and gravy. This is very good value for $15, usually a steak like this would cost double at a restaurant.
After this we tried a new menu item, Buttermilk fried chicken sliders with kimchi. I loved the crispy fried chicken here and the kimchi added a nice spiciness the burger.
We then tried another burger, the Radleys beef burger with black angus beef patty, bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, caramelised onion, mustard and special sauce. This was a great loaded burger, the fresh ingredients all pulled together well and I loved the secret sauce.
To try and be healthy, we ordered the Salad with quinoa, pumpkin, beetroot and feta cheese. This was made fresh daily and it was delicious, definitely nicely contrasted the heavier dishes from before.
Lastly, we finished up with some dessert, the Buttermilk pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup. I loved how fluffy these pancakes were and the strawberries contrasted the maple syrup well.
Overall, Radley is a terrific diner in Chatswood and soon to be opening in the city, that serves great chicken and burgers along with salads and veggies, perfect for a casual feed!
Love at First Bite dined as guests of Ompty Media and Radley’s. All opinions are my own.
