Parida Bondi: Newly renovated gem by the beach

Parida Bondi is a newly renovated cafe by Bondi Beach that serves up great food and coffee with a stunning view of the water. Now that the weather is warmer I find myself spending more time by the beach so decided to check this place out for brunch one weekend.

I ordered two drinks to start, the Berry and tropical smoothies. Both were made from fresh ingredients and tasted creamy and refreshing and I liked the protein powder in the berry smoothie, for that extra boost after a good workout.

Next we ordered two dishes to share. The first was the Baby Parida with chorizo croquettes whipped feta, potato rosti, poached eggs, hollandaise and toast with a side of bacon. I loved all the elements in this unique dish, the chorizo croquettes had good flavour while the sauce was so nice and creamy.

The second was the Parita bowl with brown rice, avocado, seaweed, smoked salmon, sesame dressing, cucumber and tomato. This is one of my favourite poke bowls, the sauce was amazing and the creamy avocado went perfectly with the fresh salmon and crunchy cucumber and tomato.

We also shared some Sweet potato fries with smoked chipotle aioli, I loved how crunchy this was and the sauce was nice and creamy.

Overall, Parida is the perfect spot for a brunch by the beach and definitely the place to hang out in the warmer summer months, whether it is before or after a swim. They do great and nutritious food and coffee and also serve alcoholic drinks for those who want something stronger!

Love at First Bite dined as a guest of the establishment and / or their representatives. All opinions are my own.
