Quell Cafe: Cosy cafe in Macquarie Centre

Quell cafe is a cosy cafe situated on level 3 in Macquarie centre next to Myer. it is large and spacious and has a great selection of brunch and lunch food so we came here after gym one weekend for a well deserved brunch.

To start we ordered a skim flat white and the Dragon fruit smoothie. I loved this smoothie, it was not too sweet and had fresh fruit ingredients, the perfect healthy breakfast drink.

The breakfast mezze plate with poached eggs, chorizo, haloumi, hummus, tzatziki, pita bread and yoghurt with berries and honey. I loved the variety on this unique dish, it had the perfect savoury and sweet elements allowing for a well rounded breakfast.

Next we ordered the French toast with mixed berries, nuts, maple syrup and mascarpone cream. This was simple but well done, the mascarpone went well with the fresh fruit, adding flavour to the french toast.

After this we tried their Crab and prawn linguine with blue swimmer crab, prawns, white wine, chili, cherry tomato and cream. This was my fav dish of the day, the sauce was just amazing and the seafood flavour was definitely strong, while the chilli gave it a good kick.

We also shared some Sweet potato chips which were well fried and went well with the aioli and tomato sauce.

Overall, Quell cafe is a great place to eat in the shopping centre and is very family friendly, there is a good variety of dishes on the menu and there are also lots of drinks to choose from as well.

Love at First Bite dined as a guest of the establishment and / or their representatives. All opinions are my own.
