Panama House: Mexican by Bondi Beach

Panama House is a modern Mexican restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner menus right by Bondi Beach with great views of the beach. The ambiance is the place is lovely, it is modern and open and perfect for warm summer days. I came here with a group of friends for brunch on weekend, keen to relax and unwind.

We took up their option of the Bottomless brunch with mimosas, bloody marys, micheladas, tecate beer and house rose. We also tried their $35 per head set menu.

The first dish was the Nachos with feta and fried egg, I found that the corn chips had gone kind of soggy from the sauce and toppings on top which was a pity because I loved the ingredients here.

Next was the Chicken quesadillas with guacamole and ranch dressing. I loved this dish, the dressing went perfectly with the chicken and the guac was a nice creamy addition on top.

After this we tried the Baked eggs with crisp kale and sourdough. The beans here added a nice nutty flavour and the kale was nice and crunchy, definitely a great mexican take on the classic dish.

For our salad we had the Roast pumpkin salad with quinoa, feta, pepitas, sunflower seeds and yoghurt. I loved how tender the pumpkin was the feta and yoghurt added a nice creaminess.

Lastly we had their epic Chorizo and bacon meat platter. I loved this, the chorizo was perfectly cooked while the bacon was nice and crispy, it was simple but went well with the other dishes.

Overall, Panama House is a great place to dine right by Bondi Beach, their Mexican food is delicious and authentic, I would love to come back and try it out for dinner again sometime!

Love at First Bite dined as a guest of the establishment and / or their representatives. All opinions are my own.
