Fire and Ice: Surf and turf in Manly

Fire and Ice is a beachside bar and restaurant in Manly that is famous for its high quality seafood and steaks. We decided to make the most of the wonderful weather and go on a day trip to Manly to experience the wonderful food and views at this place.

We ordered the signature Fire cocktail with an infusion of rum and raspberry, with a touch of overproof rum. This was a very strong cocktail and was a good base to go with the food.

We then ordered the Seafood platter with Tuna Tataki, Sashimi. Crayfish Cocktail, Tempura Crab and Calamari. This was amazing, everything was of the highest quality. I really enjoyed the variety of the dishes, the sashimi was so fresh and the tempura soft shell crab was nice and crunchy.

We also ordered the Tajima Multi Award winning Wagyu marble score 9+ minimum 400 days grain fed with a side of chips and steamed vegetables. This was another great dish, the wagyu was cooked perfectly medium rare and so tender and juicy and I loved the sauces and sides that went with it.

To end our feast we picked the Ice cream sundae: Ice cream, fruit, LINDT chocolate & nougat topped with all the trimmings. This was a decadent dessert with generous chocolate toppings however the fruit was nice and refreshing.

Overall, Fire and Ice is one of the best restaurants in Manly, with an extensive menu and daily specials that showcase the fresh seafood on offer, its definitely the place to go if you want high quality food with a great view!

Love at First Bite dined as a guest of the establishment and / or their representatives. All opinions are my own.
